Logging out of eLogic Genesis can occur in two ways:
Log Out Manually
- Click the
User Menu in the system navigation bar - Click Logout from the drop-down menu
eLogic Genesis will time-out in two different ways:
Time-out Due to Inactivity: If you are logged into your account and are inactive for four hours, you will receive a warning message across the top of the screen indicating that you will be logged out soon due to inactivity. You have the option to stay logged in by clicking "Keep session active".
This is a common feature you've likely encountered for bank, credit card, or other websites that require you to sign-in.
Forced Time-out/Reauthentication: After 12 hours since the last time you logged in, the system will force a time-out and require you to login again. This is a security measure to prevent a user from being logged into eLogic Genesis indefinitely. You will receive a message across the top of the screen five minutes prior to the forced time-out with the option to log out manually.
