Quick Goal Plans - The Basics
There are two types of Goal Plans available in eLogic Genesis:
- Quick Goal Plans are available via the Goal Plans tab in client records and provide more flexibility in Goal Plan creation.
- Scale Goal Plans and Projections enable navigators and clients to set projections for and create goal plans to achieve any scale outcome statement.
Quick Goal Plans are detached from the social determinant scales of well-being's outcomes and enable clients and navigators to establish custom-created goals. Navigators use Quick Goal Plan statements to be the foundation for which Quick Goal Plans are custom tailored for their clients.
Effective Quick Goal Plan statements should be broad to meet myriad applications of the goal. For example, a broad Quick Goal Plan statement could simply read "Save money", then be assigned to multiple domains for navigators to specify the purpose to which a client wishes to save money. For example, "Save money" could be applied to the following domains to enable navigators and clients to create different, specific goals:
- Education - "Save money for college tuition"
- Housing - "Save money for a down payment on a home"
- Transportation - "Save money to purchase a vehicle"
- Financial Literacy - "Save money to build a financial safety net"
Organizations are able to inherit their parent group's Goal Plan Statements by clicking the Source button to read Source: Inherit. Inherited data points help maintain data consistency across your eLogic Network, making parent-level Quick Goal Plan reporting a breeze. Quick Goal Plan statements must first be created by an Agency Admin for them to become available in client records.
