Step 1. Setting Up Your Global Invitation Link
This article will guide you through the creation and setup of your Global Invitation Link. Please note that some terms used for the Client Portal are defined in another article, Client Portal - Definitions of Terms Used.
Each section will provide a description of the option for which you will make a determination (YES or NO) if you would like to proceed with the option. Clicking the corresponding YES and NO options will advance you to the next relevant set of instructions or optional feature.

Inviting Clients to the Client Portal: Global Invitation Link and/or Direct Invite?
There are two ways in which individuals or your existing clients may access the eLogic Genesis Client Portal:
- Direct Invitation (existing clients) - Invitation generated by staff inviting an existing client to access the Client Portal
- Global Invitation Link (individuals) - A link created by your organization that individuals can use to create a Global Record and potentially apply to become a client of your organization
When an individual clicks your organization's Global Invitation Link (provided via website, email, etc.), they will be invited to create an eLogic Genesis Global record using their email address as their username. Once their account is established, these individuals can either become an active client in your system automatically or be placed on a waitlist and apply to become a client within your organization (more on this below).
Important Notes regarding Client Portal account creation and Usernames 
- It is critical that all individuals and clients accessing eLogic Genesis use only their single, primary email address when their Client Portal account is created.
- The email address will become the username for the account.
- Usernames cannot be used or reused for more than one individual.
- The system will prevent an individual or client from creating duplicate eLogic Genesis records in multiple organizations by allowing only one access point per email address.
- Existing clients must not use the Global Invite Link (more below) as they can create a duplicate eLogic Genesis record
If you are not sure if you would like to use the Global Invitation Link for your organization, we recommend you create one so it is available for later use.
Locate and click the statement below that best describes your preference:
NO: I would prefer that only my staff may invite existing clients to use the Client Portal and that individuals do not apply for my organization through eLogic Genesis - this will take you to the next article as you are opting out of using the Global Invitation Link. You can always return if you wish to enable this feature in the future.
Create Global Invitation Link
- Click Agency Admin
- Click Client Portal
- Click the Invitations toggle
- Click Add Invite (located to the far right of Create Invitation)
- Global Invitation will be created and available under Existing Invites
Great! Now that you have created your Global Invitation Link, decide how you would like to make it available to individuals in your community:
- You can choose to place the link on your website so any individual inquiring to become a client may take the initiative to reach out through eLogic Genesis.
- Your Global Invitation Link may be safeguarded and distributed via email only to individuals with whom have been in contact with your organization.
- Perhaps you would like to distribute your Global Invitation Link another way - this is your link and you may do with it as you wish!
- You may also choose to not use your Global Invitation Link at this time. If or when you would like to make it available, it is set up and ready to go!

Wait-list individuals who used a Global Invitation Link?
You have the option of immediately wait-listing individuals who apply to become a client of your organization when they use your Global Invitation Link to create a Global Record. Enabling the Global Invitation Waitlist will provide an extra layer of control for onboarding these individuals as they will need to be manually accepted into your organization by a staff member. Once accepted into your organization, the individual's Global Record will become an active Organization-specific Record and will appear in your report results.
If you choose to not enable the Global Invitation Waitlist, please keep the following in mind: ![]()
- The individual's Global Record will become an Organization-specific Record automatically upon creation
- The individual's record will immediately become active and will appear in your report results
- Your organization will not have the ability to control the flow of new records being created in your system
- The individual's record will not be assigned to a Navigator
YES: I would like to automatically wait-list individuals who apply to become a client
NO: I understand the concerns outlined above. I would like to accept individuals into my organization immediately after they create a Global Record using the Global Invitation Link - continues to the next article
Enable Global Invitation Waitlist
- Click Agency Admin
- Click Client Portal
- Settings toggle is selected
- Locate the Global Invitation Waitlist feature from below
- Click the slider button to enable - slider button will turn green

- System saves automatically
