Contacts - The Basics
Each client record in eLogic Genesis has a
Contacts section available via the left sidebar. Navigators can enter a client's important contacts so they are able to get in touch with any of the client's contacts should they need to. Some examples of contacts would be:
- Spouse
- Primary Care Physician
- Emergency Contact
- Therapist
View Contacts
- Open client record
- Click
Contacts from the left sidebar - Client's contacts are listed
- If client record has multiple contacts entered, use the filter tabs on the left to quickly jump to that contact
Add Contact
- Open client record
- Click
Contacts from the left sidebar - Enter contact type... in text field
- Click Add Contact Type
- Contact and title will appear below
- Scroll to the contact and enter information
- System will save automatically
Edit Contact Information
- Open client record
- Click
Contacts from the left sidebar - Locate the contact you wish to edit - scroll down or click the contact's filter tab on the left to quickly jump to that contact
- Make any necessary contact information changes
- System will save automatically
Edit Contact Title
- Open client record
- Click
Contacts from the left sidebar - Locate the contact title you wish to edit - scroll down or click the contact's filter tab on the left to quickly jump to that contact
- Click the
edit icon next to the contact title - Make the appropriate edits in the text field
- Click the
edit icon again when finished - System will save automatically
Remove Contact
- Open client record
- Click
Contacts from the left sidebar - Locate the contact title you wish to remove - scroll down or click the contact's filter tab on the left to quickly jump to that contact
- Click the
delete icon next to the contact title - Contact will be deleted when you leave the page
