Quick Goal Plans - The Basics
Quick Goal Plans require an Agency Admin to set them up before they are available for use.
eLogic Genesis' Quick Goal Plan feature is accessible in client records via the → Goal Plans tab.
There are two types of Goal Plans available in eLogic Genesis:
- Quick Goal Plans are available via the Goal Plans tab in client records and provide more flexibility in Goal Plan creation.
- Scale Goal Plans and Projections enable navigators and clients to set projections with and create goal plans to achieve any scale outcome statement.
This article will focus on Quick Goal Plans.
Quick Goal Plans are detached from the social determinant scales of well-being and enable clients and navigators to establish custom created goals.
Create Quick Goal Plan
- Open client record
- Click the Goal Plans tab
- Click Add Quick Goal Plan
- Enter Goal Plan Name, select the relevant Domain and Goal Statement from the drop-down lists
- Click Create Goal Plan
- Goal Plan will appear below
Add Objective and Steps to Quick Goal Plan
- Open client record
- Click the Goal Plans tab
- Locate and click on the Quick Goal Plan from the list below - area will expand
- Click Create Objective
- Enter Objective, Start, and Due dates
- Click
Add Step - area will expand below
- Enter Step, Start and Due dates
- Repeat steps 7-8 as needed
- Click Save when finished
Edit Quick Goal Plan Objectives, Steps, or Dates
- Open client record
- Click the Goal Plans tab
- Locate and click on the Quick Goal Plan from the list below - area will expand
- Locate the Objective or Steps you wish to edit
- Click the corresponding
edit icon
- Make any appropriate changes
- Click Save
Mark Quick Goal Plan Objectives or Steps as Complete
- Open client record
- Click the Goal Plans tab
- Locate and click on the Quick Goal Plan from the list below - area will expand
- Click the checkbox for the completed Objective and/or Steps
- System will mark the selected item as Completed, indicate the date of completion, and save automatically
Update Quick Goal Plan Status
- Open client record
- Click the Goal Plans tab
- Locate and click on the Quick Goal Plan from the list below - area will expand
- Choose the Goal Plan Status:
- Active
- Completed
- Cancelled
- Click Save
Delete Quick Goal Plan, Objective, or Steps
- Open client record
- Click the Goal Plans tab
- Locate and click on the Quick Goal Plan from the list below - area will expand
- Locate the Goal Plan, Objective, or Steps you wish to delete
- Delete Goal Plan: click the delete icon next to the Save button
- Delete Objective: click the
delete icon in the grey box to the far right of
Add Step
- Delete Step: click the
delete icon next to the Step
Filter Quick Goal Plans
- Open client record
- Click the Goal Plans tab
- Use the collapsible filters on the left to filter interactions by:
- Domain - display quick goal plans belonging to the selected domain

Status - display All, Active, Completed, or Cancelled quick goal plans
Remember that filters can be used simultaneously which will narrow your search. Be sure to check all filters are set correctly if no results or fewer results than anticipated are shown
- Quick Goal Plans matching the selected filter(s) are shown
Print Quick Goal Plan Report
- Open client record
- Click the Goal Plans tab
- Locate the Quick Goal Plans you wish to add to the Quick Goal Plan Print Report from the list below and click the blue checkbox next to the goal plan name - window will appear across bottom of screen
- Repeat for all desired Quick Goal Plans
- Click Create Goal Plan Print Report at the bottom of the screen - system will open a new tab
- All selected Quick Goal Plans will be displayed
- Click Print Goal Plans
FAQs
Do Goal Plans link to assessments?
No, these Quick Goal Plans are independently customized and reportable but do not integrate with assessments.
