User Menu - The Basics

The User Menu is located in the system navigation bar in the top right corner of eLogic Genesis. The User Menu houses in-app notifications and outstanding referrals, as well as the ability to change your password, create personal notes, view your calendar, and log out.
Notifications
In-app notifications will appear as a number in a circle over the
user menu icon in the system navigation bar. The color of the circle will be red or green, depending on the type of notification. Manage Notifications for qualifying client events here.
Outstanding Referrals
Outstanding Referrals will appear as a number in a red circle over the
user menu icon in the system navigation bar. Any clients who have been referred to you internally (from within your organization) or externally (from another organization within your eLogic Network) are displayed here.
Navigators have the option to:
- Accept the referral - accepting the referral will automatically assign you as a navigator to the record
- Refuse the referral
Messages
Outstanding messages will appear as a number in a green circle over the user menu icon
in the system navigation bar. Learn more about messages, here.
Change Password
- Click the
user menu icon from the system navigation bar - Click Change Password
- Enter Old Password, New Password, then Confirm Password
- Click Update password
Personal Notes
Personal Notes is a place where Standard Users and Agency Admins can jot down notes related to clients, organizational, or staff events. Each navigator's Personal Notes are accessible only to them.
Add a Personal Note
- Click the
user menu icon from the system navigation bar - Click Personal Notes
- Click Add Note
- Enter the person's name who the note is regarding
- Select the name from the drop-down list
- Select Reason - Personal Note Reasons are created and managed by Agency Admins - Intake Fields
- Enter Other reason if the option is not available in Reason drop-down
- Enter Note content
- Click Save Note
- Personal Note will be displayed and accessible below under Personal Notes
Navigator Calendar
View your calendar with all client events and appointments. The Navigator Calendar functions the same as the client calendar.
Logout
eLogic Genesis will automatically time out after four hours of inactivity or 12 hours since the last time you signed in. To learn more about time-outs, see How do I log out?
- Click the
User Menu in the system navigation bar - Click Logout from the drop-down menu
